Les Ormes Golf Club

WINTER LEAGUE 2010

The format is Stableford of Yellow Tees as usual and the competition is open to all members of the Men's Competition Section of Les Ormes Golf Club. The rules are as follows  :

1.                  There will be six round and a players can only play one round in each period. You book your own tee off times to play at any time which is convenient within each period.

2.                  Before you play you must sign the list at reception. Failure to do this will make the round ineligible.
Duly completed score card to be put in the wooden box just behind the door in the corridor which contains the notice boards. Please make sure you print your name clearly on the card and include your handicap (correct at the time of playing) and the date and the winter league round you are playing.

3.                  Your card must be marked by a member of the Men's Competition Section of Les Ormes Golf Club who must accompany you when you play your round, but the marker does not have to be playing a Winter League round at the time.

4.                  The Marker must sign the card in the usual way and must also print his name as marker either at the top of the card or above his signature.

5.                  There will be six rounds and the best four scores by any player will count.
The player with the highest total for his best four rounds will be the winner. In the event of two or more players having the same highest total for their best four rounds their fifth (and if necessary their sixth) best round will be taken into account to decide the winner.

6.                  Normal Rules of Golf apply.  Remember that Winter Rules are in force up to the end of April.
Any disputes will be decided by the committee whose decision shall be final.

The more people who play in this competition the better, so play as many rounds as you can and above all enjoy yourselves.
